Sweet Keno came to us as a starvation case. He spent his first two weeks in the hospital, and we're so grateful he pulled through. This poor kid was skin and bones -- one of the worst we've seen in person. But the past is the past, and as with all our dogs, we now focus on his future and nothing but!
Keno is doing great in his foster home! He's gaining weight with several small meals a day, has gotten lots of rest and is learning to love his crate, and he's doing awesome on his short walks through the neighborhood -- getting used to all the sights and sounds and learning more about the outside world.
Keno loves his foster sister, so kids are no problem for this dude. He is house trained too, and we guess his age to be around 2 -- maybe younger? He has some puppy mannerisms. When he's a healthy weight and has built up some muscle, he'll probably be around 60 pounds. It's going to be fun to watch this guy transform! Keno does still have to complete heartworm treatment, but once that's done, he'll be healthy and ready for adoption.
He's available for meet n greets now, so if you'd like to see this sweet guy in person, please fill out an adoption application at www.BullsEyeRescue.com and we'll be in touch!
His adoption fee is $275 and requires an adoption application (bullseyerescue.com), interview and meet n greet, personal and vet references, and a home check. Due to our small size, we're unable to adopt out of state (located in Atlanta, Georgia).
