Soffee's Story...
Soffee is a beautiful blue 8 1/2 year old senior with some pep in her step! She is good with other dogs, cats and children. She is just happy to be around her humans and fur friends alike, and loves children. She would do better in a home where someone was home more than not. She is an older lady so does require a potty break midday so as not to have an accident. She is very sweet and will lean in for pets, butt scratches and hugs from anyone who is willing. She will alert you to visitors if you do not hear the knock at the door, but once she knows you know they are there she has done her job. Soffee really is a wonderful, sweet girl who would love a comfy bed to curl up on, a family to call her own and someone to wander the neighborhood with. There is always something special about a senior Dane and this girl is no exception to that rule.

MAGDRL adopts to eastern NY, eastern PA, DE, NJ, MD, WV and VA only. For adoption procedures and fencing policies please visit our website at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Soffee, a York Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in York, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in York paves the way for another one to be saved.
