Our little Ava is just the sweetest baby girl.
Pulled out of Harris County Animal Control this baby girl had never known anything good. Her entire 7-8 months must have just been horrible. Just reaching for this baby was enough to cause her to scream in pain.
Thank goodness for Washington Heights Vet Clinic. In just 24 hours this baby was starting to trust, even wag her tail! And now almost two weeks later she loves humans, other dogs and is even friends with the clinic cats.
Sweet Ava is probably a lab mix, healing beautifully from demodex, noncontagious puppy mange, currently weighs around 30 pounds but has growing and filling out to do. In her condition we cannot possibly estimate her size though we don't think super big.
If you are interested in adopting this sweetie and have tons of love to give and can promise to truly love her forever and never let her down, fill out our application right away.
