Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I am Jeeves. Now I simply must confess the truth. My namesake may have been an admirable valet, but I am far more likely to spread a liberal layer of my fur on your jackets than I would be to press and lay them out for you to wear. I simply cannot manage the iron with these paws! Now if that has not ruined my chances of earning your good favor, I hope you will allow me to make myself known to you.
I am a good-natured youth, maybe four to six years of age. My fur is mostly shades of brown with some delicate tabby markings. I was raised to be a polite kitty, but rest assured I have many affectionate and playful impulses in me and I look forward to the opportunity to share those with a family of my own!
I am quite the sportsman and delight in the hunt. My favorite prey is small objects tied to string. You’ll know I am ready to pounce once my tail begins to thump and sway with excitement!
A cat can’t spend all his time playing though – it is my hope that I will find a human who would enjoy my company in quiet times as well. Perhaps one that will pet around my ears or behind my neck where I can’t quite reach.
This is not to say that I would be constantly underfoot either – I understand how busy humans can get with their housekeeping and electronics. If you aren’t available for petting or playing, I am happy to climb onto a couch or a ledge and merely observe as you go about your business.
The most important thing to me would be finding the right fit, a human that “gets me” as the saying goes. Perhaps that human will be you? I hope you will call on me at the Adoption Center. Simply ask my human staff for Jeeves and they shall show you where to find me. I can be yours for $120.
