No Chance and the No Chance puppies Rescue…
No Chance the mother, is a 2 to 3 year old female pure bred Treeing Walker Coonhound that weighs 66.5 pounds. 7/28/08 No Chance visited the vet clinic. She is pregnant and the vet believes to deliver sometime in August. No Chance is heartworm and fecal negative. With No Chance being pregnant no shots were given. Pictures taken 9/12/08
No Chance was found on a door step in north Texarkana, Texas. She was hungry. A kind lady fed her and started looking for No Chance’s owner. She knew she needed to do something fast because of her own personal dogs and other animals. Texarkana Gazette ran a lost and found ad for 5 days. No one called. No Chance’s kind lady started making phone calls. She called and emailed every local dog related rescue group and organization. No Chance received one chance. JTR rescued No Chance 7/28/08.
All puppies not spayed or neutered when adopted from JTR must have a copy of the adopters STATE I.D., DRIVERS LICENSE or PASSPORT, NO EXCEPTIONS. This is to ensure the adopted animal will be spayed or neutered before reaching 6 months age. Proof of spay or neuter is required and a contract is required. All adopters may use JTR’s local vet clinic to perform the low cost spay or neuter.
Never adopted before?
Everyone wishing to adopt an animal from JTR must complete an adoption application. This application asks for general information about the adopter, adopter’s family, other current and prior pets and previous veterinary care. If you have never had a family pet before, follow up veterinary calls will be made during the year to insure the animal is being well cared for. Home visits are required unless the distance is too far for JTR or JTR’s contacts. Pictures of the home and common ground are required. Once the application is approved the adopter may meet and or adopt any of JTR's animals. A signed adoption contract is required. Adopters with approved applications are top priority to JTR.
