L Bob ADOPTED CT's Story...
Meet Little Bob!
Little Bob was adopted 3/27/09. His new home is in New London, CT.
UPDATE 3/6/09. Little Bob was in HOLD status because a previous adopter wanted to meet him. The previous adopter decided to only have one rescued animal in their home at this time. Little Bob is looking for a home!
Little Bob is a 1.5 year old male black and white Boston Terrier. He weighs 17.5 pounds. Little Bob visited the vet clinic 2/12/09 and received his neuter, shots with rabies, heartworm tested positive and fecal tested negative. He started Frontline for flea control. 2/18/09 Little Bob was treated for heartworms. He will rest for 2 weeks and then be ready for his new home. Pictures taken 2/16/09.
Little Bob was rescued from the Paragould, Arkansas Shelter. The shelter has no power and all the animals needed rescued ASAP.
Little Bob is a very friendly and loving soul. He has never met a stranger. Little Bob gets along very well with other dogs. He loves to play ball. Little Bob would be a perfect addition to any home. He is crate, potty and leash trained.
Adoption fee is $250.
A special thank you to Pat K, Small K 9 rescue in Paragould Arkansas for contacting JTR. Pats area lost power due to an ice storm but managed to get Little Bob to the transporter.
To apply for adoption please email JEFFnTEXARKANA@aol.com to received an adoption application. If you have already completed an application with another rescue, please feel free to email that application.
JTR will transport and ship any animal. All rescued animals deserve a wonderful home now and not sit waiting for months. Jeff will personally drive some distance to help a homeless animal find his or hers forever home.
Never adopted before?
Everyone wishing to adopt an animal from JTR must complete an adoption application. This application asks for general information about the adopter, adopter’s family, other current and prior pets and previous veterinary care. If you have never had a family pet before, follow up veterinary calls will be made during the year to insure the animal is being well cared for. Home visits are required unless the distance is too far for JTR or JTR’s contacts. Pictures of the home and common ground are required. Once the application is approved the adopter may meet and or adopt any of JTR's animals. A signed adoption contract is required. Adopters with approved applications are top priority to JTR.
