KILO's Story...
Take a look at this handsome boy! Kilo has the prettiest, most expressive eyes you have ever seen! Plus he is really sweet, playful and will sit when you ask him to. His previous owner made him live in the garage, so he is going to need some work on house training, but he is smart and will catch on in no time! Kilo was turned into the shelter on 9/23 and they said he is good with kids. Kilo is up to date on shots, neutered, and will be heartworm tested and microchipped when adopted. He is 2 years old, his ID is 589153, he weighs 49 lbs., and is in run 87. Please give this super sweet boy a chance!

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

KILO, a Marietta Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
