We are a small, non-profit rescue shelter in North Central Arkansas.
We seek to bring comfort and aid to animals who have been cast aside in North Central Arkansas, and to find them exceptional homes where they can live out their lives as family members. We recognize the value in the life of each animal we help, and work tirelessly to make each animal feel important and loved until their furever home is found. We are each of us volunteers. No one is paid in money, but rather in doggie kisses and kitty-cat mews. Adoption days are our bonus, and knowing that our animals are safe and healthy is our bread and butter.
Hours of operation: Monday thru Friday 9 am to 3 pm
Come Meet Our Pets...
We are located at: 4291 Highway 62E, Flippin, Arkansas between Flippin and Yellville.
Our shelter is open to the public Monday thru Friday 9 am to 3 pm
We usually have 15 to 20 dogs and cats at any given time. Come in for a visit and check out our thrift store while you're here.
Our Adoption Process...
Dogs may be adopted for $100, cats for $50. For your fees, your adopted pet will have the following: Current Rabies vaccination Spay or Neuter Heartworm and tick-borne disease test Worming We strive to find the best homes for the pets in our shelter, and our process reflects it. It starts with the application. Once it’s reviewed, your current or previous veterinarian will be contacted. Then we will visit your home so we know the environment will be suitable. It may seem strange to some, but we put a great deal into our pets and need to know that they will be in loving, safe and caring homes. Each adoption is on a trial basis for the first week. That means that if it’s not working out, the adoption fee is refunded and the adoption is reversed. Sometimes life throws a curve ball. We recognize that and want our adopters to know that if they find themselves unable to continue caring for their animal that we are their first call. We want to make certain that these animals will be safe and loved throughout their lives.
