Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pearl is one of Rebecca's litter of 8, born July 23, 2016, in the safety of a foster home. A very pregnant, stray Rebecca was rescued - just days before whelping - while wandering aimlessly in the middle of traffic in a very busy street. Just like her namesake from Steven Universe, Pearl is the litter's dainty, studious puppy. She is the puppy who most takes after her mother in looks and body type. She isn't a runt by any means, but we do think she'll end up being the smallest of the litter once she's grown. Pearl is a very cautious puppy, but she isn't easily spooked...she just likes to take her time and make sure she understands new situations. When her siblings are wrestling, she's likely to hang back for a few minutes and watch them before jumping in. Once she decides to participate in the fun, she goes all in. She loves to learn new things, so we think she'll be the easiest one to train out of the entire litter. Pearl gets along well with other dogs, and also has a good temperament for cats and children. Pearl is so easy-going she'll do well in pretty much any household, but she'd probably be happiest in a place where she has a chance to be challenged mentally, physically, or both.
