Lion-Adopted!'s Story...
Lion is one of Rebecca's litter of 8, born July 23, 2016, in the safety of a foster home. A very pregnant, stray Rebecca was rescued - just days before whelping - while wandering aimlessly in the middle of traffic in a very busy street. Lion is a sweet boy. He's always sunny and playful, and he consistently gets along well with the other puppies and two older dogs. Lion likes to be cuddled even more than his siblings do, and he's always up for a game of chase. He really does love to run, so an active household, one with children, or one with other dogs and plenty of space for them to run around, will be best for him.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
