Missy is in our Mutts With Manners program. Sponsored by the DBCHS in conjunction with the Northpoint Training Center in Burgin, KY (Northpoint Trained Canines Program), this program pairs carefully screened prison inmates with 5 shelter dogs for an 8-week period. The dogs learn basic obedience training, socialization and behavior modification to give them the best chance of finding their forever home.
This sweet little girl is very laid back as she was born around September 1st in 2011 and is a bit more grown up. If you're looking for a calmer dog that will give you love while being too much, Sara is your girl.

The adoption fee for the Mutts With Manners dogs is $125. An application must be completed before a meet and greet visit can be scheduled.
