Are you looking for a reserved wallflower that's just waiting to bloom? Ehu might be the dog for you! When you first meet him, he can be a little cautious and reserved. However, once you win him over (which doesn't take too long!) this sweet boy will steal your heart with his goofy personality! Not only does he have a fun and funky scruffy coat, he has a fun and funky personality. When he is your friend and he sees you, his whole body starts wiggling. He also loves to come up for butt scratches and to rub up against you. Ehu also loves to play with other dogs! If you're looking for a dog for yourself and your dog - you should meet Ehu! He is great at matching each dog for his or her own play style! He loves to run around with doggie friends, but he also likes to just relax in a nice, quiet environment. Although Ehu is great with medium to large dogs, he would do best in a home without small animals (including cats and small dogs). Right now, Ehu is spending his days helping out in an office. He's starting to work on potty training, but he is looking for a family that understand he still needs some work. If you've been looking for the sweet, reserved dog with a goofy side to add to your family, Ehu might be the boy for you! Please come meet him today!
Kitsap Humane Society is a private, nonprofit animal shelter. We rescue and rehome close to 5,000 pets each year. Every animal leaves here spayed or neutered and with complete vaccines and a microchip. We have been caring for animals in need since 1908 and envision a time when all adoptable pets have loving homes.
We are extremely proud of our exceptionally high “lives saved” rate of 94%. Through our active adoption, behavior, foster, and veterinary programs, we are able to rehome every adoptable animal that enters our facility. No animal is ever euthanized for lack of space.
In addition to caring for and adopting animals, we also provide spay/neuter services to low income residents of Kitsap County, and provide Animal Rescue and Enforcement services to our surrounding municipalities.
