From Sage's foster mom: Sweet Sage is a 6-year-old Pit Bull who is great with kids and adults but not other animals. Her owner had her since she was a puppy but he was living in an unsafe neighborhood so he moved but couldn't find anywhere that would let him have a pit bull and couldn't find a shelter that would take her so he was going to call animal control to come pick her up. I said I'd take her temporarily to try to find her somewhere so she didn't have to be put down.
Sage still needs to be spayed and needs more shots but I can ask the guy who owned her to take her to get all that done prior to someone taking her. She's a sweet girl and is so cute - she is housebroken and knows basic commands like sit, lay down, stay, come, etc.
I'm located in Hawthorne, NJ and I can be reached by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or my cell: 201.468.3423 - please help us get Sage to a safe and loving home. We do not want to see her end up in a shelter.
