I am good with kids.
Who is ready to make a big difference in the life of a disadvantaged dog?? Meet Echo...her story, although heartbreaking in the beginning, is one of triumph and determination. Echo was abandoned by her owner in a home in North Carolina, she had nothing to eat and no one to count on. Echo survived almost a week on drywall and toilet water. When Animal Control was able to obtain a search warrant and break down the door Echo was promptly removed from the home and taken to the shelter. The very next day Echo delivered 7 babies, as if she was waiting for safety first.
We pulled Echo AND all her pups from the shelter in Iredell County, her babies have all found their forever homes and now Mama needs a home of her own.
Echo is a great dog, she is the cuddliest cuddle bug ever - great with people and kids. Echo does best with dogs that are males, she isn't anti-female by any means, the other female just cannot have a dominant personality. She bounces like Tigger when she really gets to playing, loves to romp and wrestle and when she does that she often time gets vocal. Echo has a strong prey drive, she loves to guard the yard from the squirrels and bunnies. She will require an owner with dog savvy.
Echo has been through the ringer, we are unsure if the last photo (which is of her back feet) are a result of a birth defect, an animal trap...or if some sicko did it intentionally. Regardless, we have promised Echo that her future will be better than her past. Have you been waiting for a girl like Echo to complete your family?
She is crate trained, house broken, spayed, up to date on all her vaccinations and heart worm negative.
