Jeri's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Jeri's Story...
You could not find anywhere a more delightful little dog than Jeri.  All she wants to do is please you and have your love.  She was found in a most unpleasant situation with 3 other beagles. Jeri has had several litters of puppies in her 5 years, but she is free from all of that now!  Jeri is 14 inches and weighs about 30 lbs.

Jeri came to us heartworm positive and came through the treatment with flying colors.  She is healthy and active again. Jeri likes to play with the dogs in her foster home and gets along well with them. Her favorite thing to do is to get on the trail of the squirrels in the backyard.

Jeri is a perfect house guest. She never gets into anything and is potty trained with a dog door.  Jeri is beautiful inside and out and will make a wonderful companion; she just needs to have a gentle, relaxed family to show her that humans are really nice after all.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jeri, a Houston Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Houston, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
