Facts about Billy

  • Breed: Lhasa Apso/Pekingese Mix
  • Color: Gray/Blue/Silver/Salt & Pepper
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male

Billy is a sweet older gentleman, he's house trained and walks well on a leash! He does well with dogs after adjusting - although can have "little man's syndrome" at first meetings! Oops! He is a pretty low energy guy who usually goes potty and is happy to come right back in or lounge on the deck with his foster mom. He is fine to go on short walks but really doesn't need a ton of exercise - he's a great dog for someone who likes to lay low... and give belly rubs! Adoption Fee $100

About Maggie's Mission

About Our Rescue Group...

Maggie's Mission has been rescuing primarily dogs and horses from ill fate for over 10 years. Maggie Muirden & Sarah Aitken, are passionate about saving the lives of furry friends. With the help of foster homes and great volunteers, this organization has been able to save and re-home numerous dogs and horses in Northeast Ohio.

Many of Maggie's Mission rescue dogs were saved from urgent situations at the Cleveland Animal Control Facility, as well as other over-flowing shelters in the Northeast Ohio region. Maggie has a special love for horses, and many of the horses for adoption were rescued from auctions in Sugar Creek, Ohio.

Our Adoption Process...

Did you find a pet to call your new best friend? Our first step is to have you fill out an Adoption Application. We will review your application and if it appears that your home would fit the animal you're interested in, we will call your vet reference. If we believe you would be the best home for the animal, we would arrange a meeting with you and any current pets to test compatibility.

Adoption fees are $175 for male dogs, and $200 for female dogs. All dogs will be spayed and neutered before we allow them to go to their forever homes. The final step is signing the adoption contract, which states clearly that if circumstances arise in which you cannot keep the pet, you return it to us.
