found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Maxwell is a 4 year old neutered male. He is a very laid back guy who only barks when he deems it absolutley necessary - doorbell, strangers, etc. He is house-trained and well mannered in the home and has been an indoor dog his entire life. He was a much loved pet and he is a teensy bit spoiled :).....Max has unfortunately lost his home due to family circumstances and well, he aims to make the best of the situation and get on with his life.
Max is just the perfect family pet. He loves children and loves playing with dogs of all sizes. OK, so he likes to chase the cat, but that's it! A quick chase, and he's ready for a nap! Max bonds very strongly with people and if you give him a chance, he will be your best friend! His worst habit is begging. If there is food involved, you can count on Max to be at your knee, just waiting for a handout. As a consequence of this, sweet Maxie is a mite chunky! It's really hard to say no to that sweet face! He is the easiest foster dog I've ever had.
Max should go to a home with at least one other pet. He cannot be trusted off leash and would benefit from a home with a fenced yard. He does know some basic obedience, but can use some leash work. He would be happy to take walks with you but jogging is probably a little outside of his range.
