BUDDY BOY
Windham, Maine
Buddy Boy is a young, goofy Mastiff mix who was abandoned at a kennel in Windham, Maine by his owner. Poor guy does not understand what he did wrong...He so misses his caretaker and is longing for a family to call his own.
Buddy is estimated to be approximately 12 months old.
He is just the sweetest dog! Full of love, life and enthusiasm. He is out going and eager to please.
It is hard to tell from these pictures - but his coat is actually a light reverse brindle color. We are not sure what he is mixed with - but he also has a very curly tail!
Buddy Boy gets along very well with other dogs. He would LOVE a home with another young dog to play with.
He has also been raised with cats.
Buddy Boy LOVES personal attention and will turn himself inside out for the person that shows him any attention or affection.
He has been through an intensive 8 week obedience training course through Avant-Garde training in Windham and was a terrific student. he knows hand signal and commands to "sit" and "lay down" but needs reinforcement of commands as he is not able to practice them in the kennel environment.
This is a very loving dog - who needs an active family that will excercise him and adore him.
The ideal home for Buddy Boy would be:
-- One where he is not left alone for long periods of time.
-- One with a physically fenced in yard (required)
-- One with another young dog to play and romp with.
If you love big dogs - please consider Buddy. He deserves another chance at finding a family who will appreciate all of the love he has to give. Contact: DDBMaine@yahoo.com
