Barb's Story...
Hi my name is Barb I'm a 9-10 month old female. I'm spayed and UTD on shots. I was rescued by WAAL off of death row.
I love to play and chase paper balls, mice or just about anything you want to toss. I'll run after it and play with it. It does take me a little while to warm up to you, but I do love being held as long as it's on my terms! LOL I love it when you're laying down and I can crawl up and lay on your chest so you can pet me. I love it when you pet me on my back and especially when you rub my head! I love to scratch on cardboard scratching posts the most and love to jump in and out of boxes. I would love it it you would take me into my FurrEver home? Will you adopt me??

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barb, a Wichita Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wichita, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wichita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wichita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wichita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wichita paves the way for another one to be saved.
