Baxter is a super sweet and loving boy who has unjustly been dumped at a high kill shelter in Kentucky. We really don't understand how anyone could abandon this awesome guy because he's seriously such a happy go lucky boy! He is sure to bring a smile to your face! Luckily, thanks to our amazing fosters at Peace4Paws, he was rescued just in time and is now eagerly awaiting his furever home to come along! He is approximately one-years-old and we aren't 100% sure what he is mixed with but possibly Australian Cattle dog, hound and pointer. He makes friends wherever he goes. He is very docile and friendly. You are sure to love this guy and he will light up your life! He gets along great with people, kids and other dogs, as well! Baxter is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered and has a clean bill of health! If interested in adopting Baxter, please head over to and fill out an adoption application!

About Peace4Paws Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
