Rosie's Story...
I’m little Rosie, the tiniest kitten of 8 in my litter, the “R” kittens. I may be small in size, but I’ve got a huge purr-machine when you snuggle with me. I love to snuggle under my foster mommy’s chin, right on her pillow, when it’s bedtime. While small, I can now keep up with my playful, rough-housing siblings. But let me tell you, when I was a wee little kitten, I knew where the best place to be was when they would get all crazy – right up on my foster mommy’s shoulder! Even now, when I’ve had enough of wrestling, I’ll climb up foster mommy and perch up on her shoulder, watching the crazy activity from safety. I’m a snuggly girl for sure, and I’m ready to find my forever family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Aldie Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
