Monet's Story...
People spend big bucks to buy a Monet, and here – you have the opportunity adopt one! See, my name is Monet, like the famous artist. Monet painted beautiful paintings – many of them of outdoor scenes like lakes, flowers, and fields – in the impressionist style. Now, me, I was born in the great outdoors…and let me tell you my impression – not that great compared to life as an indoor feline! Truth be told, I’m just getting acquainted with the indoor cat lifestyle, but I definitely give it four paws up. Regularly scheduled meals. Fluffy beds. Lots of companionship from the other cats and the humans in my foster home. Toys – and not dead bug toys but real fluffy, scrunchy, colorful, feathery, whiz-bang toys! Did I mention regularly scheduled meals? I may be a bit shy at first – I’m just getting used to all of this human interaction – but once I am comfortable enough to settle into your arms, you’ll definitely hear my happiness, as I start to purr. What will make me happiest of all? Finding a loving forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monet, a Aldie Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
