Additional info: This long-legged pooch was overlooked at the shelter for way too long. He was in there in 2014 and Feb, 2016 as well as recently. He was quite the favorite of staff and volunteers. He is a complete sweet heart and loves sitting in laps for cuddles and being held. Reggie is good with other dogs and we think he may be a good fit for a first time foster. He's had a rough time of it. We just got him and he cried and had separation anxiety at first. Unfortunately, the person who was handling him tried to force him into a crate and he fear-nipped. We do not think he is naturally aggressive. He's more likely just a scared, confused pup. For now, though, we have to caution against placing him in a home with young kids until we can get to know him better. He walks well on the leash, is housetrained and crate trained.
