Hello, my name is Maddy and I am FELV +. I was born with feline leukemia virus (FELV) but I am showing no signs of the disease. I am beautiful, playful, loving and I wish for a home of my own. My sister Libby was also born with FELV and she crossed the Rainbow Bridge recently. The disease was advanced for an 8 month old but I know today she is well and whole.
Rescue is toug h, emotional work on the volunteers that still care for me; there are sad stories such as Libby's and there is so much work to be done. Along with the volunteers' work, we need you to take our paws and hearts and guide us to wonderful, safe homes. Please talk to a veterinarian on caring for special needs dogs and cats like me. We need you now more than ever. I need you now more than ever. I have been spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines. If you are interested in me call 706-698-4663 (Homeward Bound message line) or 706-273-0278 (direct to volunteer). My adoption fee is $125. Libby, I miss you so much. XOXO, your sister Maddy.
