Selena is a deserving five year old white female Poodle who was abandoned at the Downey Shelter on September 12th after her owners moved and were either too lazy or too inconsiderate (or both) to find a safe place for their devoted pet. Weighing twenty pounds, Selena has medium energy level and although she did not show it in the noisy shelter environment, walks fairly well on leash and is most likely housebroken. Being ripped out of her home and tossed into a chaotic shelter has been difficult on Selena and she shutdown – and in the process developed some alopecia (hair loss) on her back, probably out of sheer nervousness. She is good with other dogs and we imagine once she decompresses she will be good with children. Selena is a soulful and delightful lapdog and indoor pet for any family or individual. We will be getting to know her a lot more through out her recovery from her spay, and in a foster home, we are hoping she will slowly show her true colors and be more calm than she was in the shelter. Will you be her forever home?
