Baxter*ADOPTED!*'s Story...
BAXTER HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Meet Baxter an adorable little fluff ball of a pup! This little fellowl was rescued from an overburdened pound in Kentucky along with his mother (Brownie) and his 9 littermates. Mom is a gentle Collie/Shepherd mix, dad is unknown, but most of the pups look like mini German Shepherds. Baxter and her sister Bea look like little Border Collies. Baxter is a little more quiet than some of the other pups in the group. He loves to sit back and take it all in, he's a very observant pup :) He loves being cuddled and sitting in the laps of his favorite people! Baxter or any of his lttermates will make wonderful companions for households with the time to raise a young pup. These adorable little muppets will be ready to leave for the homes on 10/7 when they are 10 weeks old, however we are accepting applications for them now. They will have had at least two series of puppy vaccines and de-wormer and a microchip before being placed. They will also be spayed/neutered. Their adoption donation of $375 helps to offset their medical expenses while in our care. For more info or for an adoption application, please email palsplace1@hotmail.com

• The adoption donation for each pup is $375. This donation helps to cover their spays/neuters, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baxter*ADOPTED!*, a Chicago Collie/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Collie/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Collie/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
