Hi there! I'm Beatrice and I'm just looking for a home where I can lounge. I came in with my buddy, Berniece, and though we are good friends, we don't have to go to a home together!

I am a little on the heavy side, so a home that would like to help me work on my waistline would be a plus. I would also like a home that will let me just hang out and not make me do a whole lot. I would be happy to go to a home with children and would do fine with other animals. Don't you want to take me home?

You can meet me anytime Tuesday-Sunday from 11-5 at the Animal Welfare League!

Our Adoption Process...

Animal Welfare League of Queen Anne's County (AWL) strives to find the best match for both person/family and for our animals looking for their long time homes. In order to foster or adopt an animal the person or family must submit a short adoption application and speak to staff.

Our adoption fees cover AWL's costs of spay and neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and assist in the continued mission of AWL to save the lives of homeless pets. Dogs are $140, Cats $35, and Small Animals (such as hamsters, etc) are $20.
