Danillo's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Danillo's Story...
Danillo is healthy, vaccinated, sterilized and micro-chipped and is okay with other cats but is uncomfortable with dogs. LCHS, Inc. was called to help Danillo and his friends at an abandoned home in southern Leavenworth County. After he was humanely trapped, we discovered he was a very laid back neutered middle aged guy. Now that his upper respiratory infection is cleared up and he’s up to date on vaccinations, Danillo is ready for his own family. He enjoys a cuddle, but loves to observe from a distance. His most favorite thing? Mealtime!!

Standard adoption fee for cats is $90, which helps to cover the costs of care provided and allows us to continue our work. Email LvnCoHS@live.com for application and additional information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Danillo, a Basehor Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Basehor, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Basehor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Basehor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Basehor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Basehor paves the way for another one to be saved.
