Bogey's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bogey's Story...
Bogey (and his brother Joey) were found in living in a culvert. They are the most playful, snuggly boys ever. They are estimated to have been born the end of June 2016. They are full of fun, love to snuggle, and are constantly playing together. Bogey is the solid tiger, who is still available for adoption. His brother Joey has been adopted. Now it's Bogey's turn. He just wants to snuggle and to love, and he loves attention!

Bogey is used to other cats, but has not been exposed to dogs or small children. However, his personality isn't the least bit shy, so with slow, proper introduction, he will be fine with small children and non-aggressive dogs. Bogey would be happiest with a pal to play with, so a home with another cat, or adopting a 2nd kitty from us is ideal! His new friend at the sanctuary is Harold, who is also available for adoption.

Bogey is the solid tabby and loves to cuddle in your lap, are constantly purring, and just love attention. Bogey has received his full kitten vaccines series, his 1 year rabies, been neutered, and has been tested for feline leukemia/FIV, been treated for fleas, worms and ear mites. Our full service adoption package has covered all the costs of his veterinary care.

We require a veterinarian reference prior to adoption, and we require a cat carrier be brought to the adoption appointment for transport to their new home. No exceptions. They must be INDOOR only kitties.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bogey, a Ashland Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Ashland, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Ashland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ashland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ashland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ashland paves the way for another one to be saved.
