Cheshire's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Cheshire's Story...
Cheshire and brother Tweedledee were rescued by HART underweight and dehydrated, but super sweet. Their siblings did not survive, but their Momma gave it her best! She has found a new home and now these guys are ready, too!

Cheshire is an energetic, playful kitten who enjoys chasing toys, napping on soft blankets and instigating fights with his brother. He my be small, but he is feisty!

As the only two survivors, Cheshire and Tweedledee like to play, fight and sleep with each other whenever possible. They would love to go to a home together, but would do great with other household pets as well! They will be available for adoption after 10/1!

All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.

If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application - Click Here. The application will put you in touch with this wonderful cat's foster family so you can schedule a meeting. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheshire, a Cincinnati Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
