Inside that luxurious coat of long fluffy red fur is a tiny little kitty who needs a little extra comforting. Her previous owner passed away, and when we started fostering her she was very sad and scared. But after a few days of gentle love and encouragement she came out of her shell. Now she loves to come up to the bed for her morning snuggles and head rubs. Orangey has a satisfyingly loud purr and an adorable, squeaky little meow. Her favorite activities include chomping on kitty grass and watching birdies through an open window at sunrise.
She came to us with the name Orangey but we have taken to calling her Elsa (after the lioness in Born Free) because of her big, beautiful lion's mane. She has also earned the nickname Ginger Ninja because of her incredibly quiet, stealthy moves (thanks to some very furry feet) and her amazingly agile jumping ability.
This little girl needs a kind, patient family who is willing to give her the tender care she needs to help her recover from her traumatic loss. But this sweet little kitty's love will make it all worth it. She says she would prefer to be the queen of the house without other pets around. Are you the special kitty-parent she's looking for? All Brother Wolf animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption (if species appropriate).
Application and counseling is required prior to all adoptions.
Individuals interested in adopting a puppy are STRONGLY encouraged to download and read this FREE ebook. Even if you've raised puppies in the past, this is an invaluable resource to help make your new addition successful!
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
