My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, let us introduce ourselves. We are Gilly and Leon, a gentle and loving bonded pair (female/ male respectively) of declawed silver tabby DSH mixes who were born in 2010. (I'm Gilly who has the white bib and mittens.) Due to the current circumstances of our adoptive family and through no fault of our own, we are in the precarious predicament of needing to find a new forever home where we can spend the rest of our lives together. We have been best friends since birth and would be lost and heartbroken without each other. We love spending our days grooming each other and nearby each other while we nap, sunbathe, and bird watch. We are searching for a calm, relaxed environment where we can stay strictly indoors since we don't have our front claws.
Gilly: I am very energetic and tend to be the more outgoing one between us. I spend my days playing with catnip mice, sneaking up on Leon for a game of tumble, or just exploring my space. My mom calls me 'the chatter box' as I like to roam around the house sharing my opinions or demanding attention! While I am very lively, some of my favorite activities are curling up in a warm lap, napping with my humans, giving or receiving affection, and, of course, cuddling with Leon.
Leon: I am a very sweet, loving boy who adores being near my humans. I especially enjoy joining them in bed at night to give and receive affection. My parents say I look like a raccoon because I fluff out my tail when you scratch my back. It feels soooooo good! I expect treats before bedtime, and I’ll make sure to call you so you won’t forget. Sometimes I’m a little shy with new situations, and that's when Gilly helps me to feel safe and secure.
We are kitties with such wonderful personalities that we are worthy and deserving of a fantastic new lifetime home. We promise to surround you with our love, affection, and snuggling as you also allow us to remain together. Won't you come meet us today?
Gilly and Leon are updated on shots, spayed/ neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for their indoor-only home. Their adoption fee for the bonded pair is $75, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Gilly and Leon, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet them.
