Virginia's Story...
Virginia is a very sweet 2 year old Beagle. She was rescued from a very high kill shelter. She was set to be put down because she is heartworm positive. She has been undergoing the slow kill treatment for the last 4 months. She loves people and other dogs.. Very loving and would love to have her very own inside home... She doesn't like kennel life to much.. She was said to be housetrained, so it wouldn't take much to get her back in the habit of it. Please consider adopting.. She is spay, current on all shots, deworming, flea meds and will come with 4 months of Heartgard, which she needs to stay on.. Her adoption fee is $150

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Virginia, a Wytheville Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Wytheville, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Wytheville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wytheville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wytheville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wytheville paves the way for another one to be saved.
