Calling all experienced Great Pyrenees Lovers, meet Angus! I am a neutered senior Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd male, approximately 6 - 7 years old, I'm a big, gentle, sensitive boy, weighing about 130lbs. Consistent with my breed, I am independent and vocal, have double dew claws, and can go to a home with a female Great Pyrenees companion. I am a low energy boy, enjoy leisurely walks, and napping on my bed. I have not shown any interest in climbing or jumping fences and am extremely reliable in the house. Also consistent with my breed, I need to be fed separately. I have no experience as a Livestock Guard dog and rather enjoy chasing bunnies, ducks, chickens, and sheep. I am up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, adoption fee of $400 applies.

~~COURTESY POST - This dog is a courtesy listing on our Petfinder site and is not a foster dog with our group~~We have been asked to help place this special dog who's Forever Parents have not found him/her yet.  All applications and inquiries will be forwarded directly to the shelter or rescue group that is in desperate need to place this dog.  An adoption fee will apply but is set by the rescue or shelter we are trying to help. A small donation to our group is always appreciated but not required.  (However $10 goes a long way!)

UNABLE TO ADOPT BUT WISH TO HELP? Please make a donation to help us with our veterinarian and medical expenses. We will be in touch shortly after receiving your application to arrange a meet and greet! Our foster dogs are very loved and considered part of our family when in foster care. So we make sure all of our dogs are fully vetted with age appropriate vaccinations, as well as being spayed or neutered, prior to adoption.

About Paws n'Time Canine Rescue, inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Our Mission Statement

Paws n’Time Canine Rescue operates as a not for profit company focused on the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of dogs. Keeping our focus on our community, we aim to educate and assist current owners with the health and welfare of their animals, enabling them to keep their pets through hard times. Our rescue financially assists struggling families by providing standard vaccinations and a nutrient-rich, quality food for their animals.

If an owner must surrender their pet, Paws n’Time Canine Rescue offers a network of temporary foster homes to care for the dog until a loving family adopts. In addition, these services are extended to local strays and dogs housed in high-kill shelters.

We believe that a large part of reducing the volume of dogs currently located in shelters is prevention. As such, we promote spaying and neutering of all pets. Paws n’Time Canine Rescue offers sponsorship to animals for this surgery with the hope of reducing the chance of puppies being born that are unwanted, without proper care or love waiting for them.

Paws n’Time Canine Rescue strives to promote the human/animal bond as one that is mutually supportive, responsible, enduring and important to the well being of all family members - owners and pets alike.

Our Adoption Process...

We are a Foster Home based Rescue. We are not a Shelter and do not have a brick and mortar building to visit. All our animals are homed by volunteers who care for and work with the dogs to become inside family animals. We require an application to be completed before meeting any of our dogs

Our Adoption Fee is $250. All of our animals are up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and spayed/neutered. If the dog is too young for spay/neuter at the time of adoption we require an spay/neuter contract to be signed & a refundable deposit.
