Rascal's Story...
Although Rascal is a big boy, he's still a puppy and is certainly a rascal as puppies are. Foster mom describes him as very friendly and he loves to be with people and have his belly rubbed. He is almost 6 months of age but is already crate and potty trained, so you can tell he's a smart boy. He sleeps, dines, and gets treats in his crate so it is definitely his happy place. As Rascal is a puppy, he will need an owner to put in the time to teach him his manners. He will be a very large boy so teaching him manners is a must. His family will need to understand that he will grow to be very big. Because of his size we do recommend he not be placed with small children as he may accidentally knock them over. Thus far he does well on a leash, knows sit, and is working on stay and lay down. He loves to play tug and enjoys his chew toys without being destructive to other things in the home. Rascal enjoys other dogs.

Rascal's adoption fee is $200 and includes age appropriate vaccines, neuter, and microchip. Email us at kcpetfinder@hotmail.com to set up a time to meet Rascal.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rascal, a Overland Park St. Bernard/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a St. Bernard/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with St. Bernard/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
