Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Cocoa. I'm a 9 year old Shepherd mix weighing about 65 pounds. I'm a really sweet senior girl with plenty of spunk left! I am house and crate trained. I would prefer to have your attention all to myself. I love to play outside as much as possible, so a fenced yard where I can sunbathe would be fantastic. I love toys, or I should clarify, I love to destroy toys. Its a mission that I have set for myself. My foster mom says I am sweet as can be and best part is I rarely bark. I also know basic commands and overall just the perfect dog. I am diabetic and require insulin daily. This does make me thirsty, which means I need to potty frequently. So I would love a forever family that doesn't leave me alone all day and are able administer insulin is a must! I'm active for my age and would love a family that can keep up with me! I don't think I'm asking for too much in my forever home! I can't wait to meet you!
*I recently received a grant from the Petfinder Foundation to cover SIX MONTHS of my insulin costs for my new family! Now there is no reason not to come and meet me!*
My adoption fee is SPONSORED (meaning I am available fee-waived to an approved home) and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip with free lifetime registration!
