Odin's Story...
Odin is a heartbreaker with his silky black fur with a few spots of white poking through. He is just 6 weeks old and is starting his search for his forever family. He is a handsome domestic short hair kitten who will just melt your heart. Odin enjoys playing hide and seek with his brother Puck and will often cuddle with Tigger his brother. Odin really enjoys the company of his human teenage foster siblings as well. He likes to watch them as they do their homework and relax. This cutie is on the mellow side but when he wants to play he will go all out. He likes to play with toys that make noises and will often hide in the cat tree and pounce when the others are not looking. Odin and his siblings will be adopted as pairs unless a potential adopter has a cat already. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Odin, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
