DOB Sept 5, 2009. Hi! My name is Bulbasaur. I am a big and beautiful boy who loves attention and sitting on your lap. I want to be near you all the time and will meow for your affection.
I love my scratching post and board, and will go at it like crazy at night. I also love sharing a cramped space with you so we can snuggle tightly together. I will not move and give up my space! I love to be pet and will purr in return.
I tend to over groom myself, so you might notice that I have a very thin hair coat on my abdomen and legs. My fur will grow back, but as this habit gets worse when I'm stressed, I would do best in a quiet home where I am the only cat. I am also on a hypoallergenic diet which helps me feel my best.
I will be your faithful and loving friend for as long as we're together. All you have to do is meet me, and you won't be able to resist my charms! So please, please, adopt me today!

About Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered, no-kill charity run by volunteers.

Our mission is to rescue and find homes for abandoned, sick or injured cats from situations of abuse, neglect or imminent euthanasia.

Our vision is for Toronto to be a city in which no adoptable cat is killed and rescue organizations such as Toronto Cat Rescue are no longer needed.

Our registered charity number: 889-198-727-RR-0001

Our Adoption Process...

Decided on the cat or kitten you would like to adopt? Please call 416-538-8592, or email adopt@torontocatrescue.ca.

An adoption counsellor will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.

You will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your cat home with you in a safe carrying case.

Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

Note:

1. ALL senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopters choice, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.

2. Our adoption fee for a bonded pair is $100 per cat, vs. $175 per cat.
