DOB: 9/13 Weight:
Raven was surrendered because she would dart out the door and go to the neighbor's house so she would do best with a fenced yard. She is a very timid girl but warms up to strangers when offered treats. She would be fine with older respectable kids. She is friendly, housetrained and questionable with cats as she does like to chase them. She was not crated in her previous home.
She has had a rabies shot, 7-way shot, bordetella and been wormed. She is spayed, microchipped and heartworm tested positive. We are searching for a foster home for her so she can start heartworm treatment. She came to the shelter 9/16.
Our adoption fee is $130.00 and it helps to cover a portion of the dog's vetting costs. The adoption process includes the completion of an application followed by an interview.

Contact us to set an appointment to see a dog, or plan to visit us on Sunday from noon to 3pm at the Pet Food Center on First Avenue in Evansville, Indiana. Contact us if there is a particular dog you want to meet this weekend so we can be sure to bring that one with us.
We respond to inquiries and adoption applications at our earliest opportunity, but please be patient with us as we work full-time jobs and perform this service as volunteers. We do our best to return messages and schedule adoption interviews within a couple of days of receiving your application.
The fastest way to get the ball rolling is to complete an adoption application for the dog that caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption of a shelter dog!
