Facts about Lil Bit

  • Breed: Domestic Mediumhair
  • Color: Orange Or Red (Mostly)
  • Age: Kitten
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 10615135-Alex-C-Lil Bit
  • Hair: Medium

Lil Bit and her litter mate were abandoned together on a doorstep. The finders tried to save the tiny babies, but they couldn't get them to bottle feed. Luckily, one of DARS fosters took them in along with Daisy and they've all grown and thrived.

They were all born around the end of July and will be neutered this week. Then they'll be ready to go to their forever homes where they will give a lifetime of love and joy. They're all loving and playful.

Lil Bit has beautiful medium length yellow and white hair. The pictures don't do her justice because she was so shy being in a strange place with the camera flashing in her eyes.

All of these kittens are updated on their vaccinations, on flea/tick & heartworm preventative. Please call 662-342-9448 for more information or submit an application here: http://desotoanimalrescue.org/cat-adoption-application.html

About Desoto Animal Rescue Society

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of unwanted, abandoned, and abused pets, giving them a second chance at a loving forever home. All animals taken in receive necessary medical care, vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

We are not a shelter with a facility where you can visit our pets. All rescued pets live in our own homes, where they are evaluated and cared for until they find their ideal adoptive family. We carefully screen prospective homes and require all applicants to go through an adoption application process.

We are not affiliated with the Desoto County Animal Shelter or any governmental agency. We do not receive any taxpayer funds. We operate solely on donations and the revenue we generate from fundraising events. 100% of our incoming funds go directly towards the care of our animals and to pay our vet bills. All other expenses are paid for by our own volunteers.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

We've made it very easy for you to donate one time, set up a recurring payment/sponsorship or do a tribute for someone. Everything is on our website here: info@desotoanimalrescue.org

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please see our website for the locations and times of our Adoption Events. We occasionally have special events which we're unable to post on all sites.

Our Adoption Process...

All pets are up-to-date on routine vaccinations and are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. All dogs are tested heartworm negative and all cats are tested feline aids/feline leukemia negative. We require a pre-adoption application and a home visit. To help cover our veterinary costs, we ask for a $125 adoption donation for dogs and puppies and a $75 adoption donation for cats and kittens.
