Ambrosia is a sweet, loving shepherd. She does well with other dogs and bonds very strongly with her people. She is medium level energy but not too high compared to other German Shepherds. She is very smart, and will benefit from positive reinforcement training ONLY. She is not a working dog and does not need to be trained in any other way. She likes kids, we are recommending that they be slightly older children due to her large size. We do not recommend that Ambrosia live with cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ambrosia, a Garden City German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Garden City, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Garden City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garden City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garden City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garden City paves the way for another one to be saved.
