Facts about HANZO

  • Age: Senior
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 10615760-A072347
  • Hair: Medium
This isn''t the first time we''ve seen Hanzo at the shelter. He was a youngster when someone adopted him from us almost 10 years ago. Sadly, their new living arrangement no longer permits them to keep Hanzo. He was a hefty 17 lbs back then, but he came back to us even bigger and weighing nearly 24 lbs! Now, Hanzo is on a weight reduction plan and just had his teeth scaled and polished, so he can begin again. The shelter kittens are very fascinated by Hanzo and he''s been very sweet to them!

Our Adoption Process...

How to Adopt:

Take your time getting to know the animal you wish to adopt. The pet you choose should be your pet for the rest of its life, so spend the time necessary to make the right choice. Our staff is happy to assist you in taking a dog out of the kennels or socializing with a cat in the cat room. We encourage each person in your household to get acquainted with an animal before it becomes a new member of your family. We also suggest you bring your present pets in for an introduction to the new animal to form some ideas about their compatibility. Our shelter is open Monday through Saturday, 11:00am - 5:30pm. In order to complete the adoption process, it is necessary to begin adoptions by 4:30pm.
