Facts about Cammie

  • Breed: Domestic Longhair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Long
DOB: September 27, 2011

Cammie is a very friendly kitty who settled into her foster home right away. She loves being petted, sitting by you or right on your lap. Her favourite thing to do is to chase after her ball, and she's partial to a wand toy too.

Her coat is super long and fluffy and she purrs away as you brush her. Get too close to her tummy though and you'll know about it, she's not a fan.

Cammie is the sweetest cat most of the time but is very scared of going in the carrier. She will swipe and hiss if you try catch her and put her in. But we're working really hard to make the carrier a positive experience for her by feeding her close by and leaving treats in it so she gets used to it being around and knows it's not scary after all.

Our Adoption Process...

Decided on the cat or kitten you would like to adopt? Please call 416-538-8592, or email

An adoption counsellor will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.

You will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your cat home with you in a safe carrying case.

Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

1. ALL senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopters choice, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.

2. Our adoption fee for a bonded pair is $100 per cat, vs. $175 per cat.
