Gerald's Story...
Gerald is just a year old. He is a GEM! he's friendly, lovable and playful. He LOVES other dogs and is great with kids. He ignored the cats at the foster - and is crate trained. He is house broken and is just an awesome dog!

He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is very gentle and affectionate. He's about 45lbs -

We rescued Gerald from a kill shelter. His family got divorced and neither side could take a dog to their new apartment. He was so afraid in the shelter, he'd actually cry - Once at the foster mom's house he really came out of his shell.. he became playful and affectionate. He would run around her yard with the other dogs. He has NO aggression AT ALL..

Fee to rehome is $150 REFERENCES REQUIRED

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gerald, a Paterson Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound for sale in Paterson, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound dog from a breeder in Paterson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Paterson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Paterson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Paterson paves the way for another one to be saved.
