Luna's Story...
Meet Luna – She is a 4 month old Golden/Lab/Hound Mix (best guess). She is about 25 pounds now and will probably be 40-50 pounds full grown. She is in a foster home learning her basic manners. She does great with other dogs while playing but can become a bit possessive of food and toys in the house (with the other dogs). She would do best with an owner who can tell her NO. She was found as a stray in North Carolina and ended up in a kill shelter before being transported to NJ where she is now looking for her forever home. She is up to date on vaccinations and will be spayed before adoption. She is currently located in LBI but will also be in the Princeton area for meet and greets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luna, a Paterson Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Paterson, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Paterson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Paterson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Paterson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Paterson paves the way for another one to be saved.
