Maximus in San Antonio's Story...
Hi my name is Maximus but my friends call me Max. My foster mom says I am the perfect dog! I think she's just partial to me, although I am a pretty cool dude. I am 10 yrs and 12 lbs. of love. I like soft dog beds, fuzzy blankets, naps, walks, treats and meal time. I am a very good boy with my house manners - you can leave me home and I will not mess on anything or chew stuff, I have too much class for those antics. I sit on command, and I am a gentleman on leash. I love people, and other dogs are cool, although puppies wear me out! Cats are fine too. I like to have the occasional tussle with a toy but my priority is people. I am happy hanging out on the sofa with you, or taking a walk, or entertaining myself if you need me to. If you think I might be the guy for you, call my manager, I mean foster mom. She can help us set up a meeting!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maximus in San Antonio, a Argyle Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Argyle, or seeking a Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Argyle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Argyle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Argyle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Argyle paves the way for another one to be saved.
