At 10 months old, Picasso (aka Gus) is fun-loving and is bursting with energy! He seems to be ready for almost anything: long hikes, a beach day, cuddling on the couch, and all the while he's looking right up at you. Gus is the perfect pup for those in need of a partner in crime willing to go with you just about anywhere. Gus is part Jack Russel Terrier it seems, so he trots around with an eager expression written on his face, waiting to see what you're going to do next. This makes it easy for him to learn. So far he understands common commands such "sit, lay, and down" (from the couch or bed if need be.) He also understands if you are going for a walk or car ride. Gus is completely potty trained! He had an interesting experience at his last home, so he is currently working on socializing and making new friends as he continues to grow up. This is okay because he is very treat-motivated! He also responds very well to positive reinforcement. This is key with Gus, as it's obvious he just wants to please people and grow up to be a fine pup, so scolding does not work! Overall, expect Gus to learn fast, be fun-loving, and accompany you on any journey you choose to take!
