Here's what the humans have to say about me:
September 19, 2016: MARLEY was originally purchased from a breeder and then sold to another family who dumped her at the Roswell, NM Shelter. We pulled her on Sept. 19th (within 24 hours), and had her spayed and her stomach "tacked" to prevent a potentially fatal condition called bloat. MARLEY is approximately 3-4 years old and has had a litter of pups prior to us rescuing her. She is a gentle giant, though she still needs to gain about 20 pounds and we're working on that. She is extremely gentle and socialized with people, though not comfortable with other dogs (because she's never lived with other dogs). Marley is not a barker, is house trained, and ABSOLUTELY LOVES TO RIDE IN OUR CAR/SUV and loads and unloads easily. She has no food aggression/protection issues and we'll be working on her leash skills (her gentle leader, collar and leash are on the way) as she doesn't know how to talk on leash. She is good with a collar. As is typical of a Dane, she should be fed 3 smaller meals a day and she believes she should sit on your lap! Ha Ha! She's a beautiful gal who deserves a good life.
