My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Charlie. What’s yours? Nice to meet ya! Just to be sure you know, I’m a doggie, not “Charlie, the Tuna”. Who would want to adopt a tuna anyway, huh? ASK TO SEE MY VIDEO AND MORE PHOTOS, TOO.

Hey! Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Houston, TX but I want to get OUT of Houston and OUT of Texas so I can have a really good life. I want to see Texas in my rear view mirror. A nice person came along and took me in and, now, I am ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK?

Wanna know more about me? OK, here goes! I am a Pitbull Terrier mix and I am 5 years old and weigh 70 lbs. I am fully vaccinated and been neutered. YIKES! I left my old, unhappy life behind and for the past year, I’ve had a fabulous and loving foster family. They didn’t care if I got adopted or not because they LOVE me. I’ve had 3 foster doggies and I love them and they love me AND I have 2 human sisters. One is 4 years old and the other is 4 months old. I love playing with the 4 year old. Now, my foster family has to move for a new job and they have to move into an apartment and, you guessed it, I can’t go cuz the apartment complex won’t let them have FOUR doggies in an apartment. They are REALLY sad and so am I. So, now it’s time for a REAL adoption. How ‘bout you, huh?

Did you know that during World War II, we Pitties were used as babysitters? Yep! It’s true! If the lady of the house was outside hanging laundry and one of the kids needed her, we would let her know! We are very devoted to our loved ones.

Can you stand hearing more good stuff about me? Okie Dokie! I am the sweetest, most loving guy you could EVER meet. I AM TO PLEASE! I love other dogs and all people, adults and kids! I may need j-u-s-t a moment to know you are friendly and loving. Even though I love other dogs, we’ve decided that, at this point in my life, I need and want to be your only love, unless you have a human, too, of course! Then, I’m your biggest fan. I LOVE to roll in the grass. I could sit in the back yard watching birds go by and rolling in the grass all day long. I like to go for walks, too. And I love spending time with my peeps.

Oh, how I would love to have my own home and some peeps to cuddle with and they could love me and take good care of me. That is my first dream! My second dream is all about treats and playing and romping with my new family. We could play catch in the back yard, throw a Frisbee, go for walks and do all the things good buddies do together. Ah, I can see it all now!

My foster mom loves me SO much that she only wants me to fly to my new home even if a pet transport truck was available. See my adoption information below.

If you would like to take me home (and you know you do), please email mpringle001@comcast.net and she can get me on my way to a new and loving home! My adoption fee is $550 USD and includes my vetting, neutering, microchip, health certificate, travel crate AND transportation on United Airlines from Houston, TX to areas in the Northeast U. S., North Central U. S., Northwest U. S., and Canada and will be arranged by the rescue group. (This is a courtesy posting.)
