Jonah is a lovely sprightly wire-haired Jack Russell Terrier.  We think he is a purebred boy but if there is any other terrier in him it might be a bit of Norfolk Terrier.  Jonah gets along very well with most other dogs and he gets along with cats too!  He is around 3-4 years old, about 20-22 pounds, and is a feisty little love muffin.  He may chase after some cats but does not hurt them, because he is looking to play with them.

He has dog toys which he loves, especially squeaky ones.  Jonah is very affectionate and loves to cuddle.  He never chews up anything and is completely housetrained.  Jonah walks nicely on the leash, travels well in a car, and is a loving and great pup.  Jonah is a very fast learner.  Currently Jonah has a summer buzz cut.  He has not had his tail docked.

Jonah was left behind when someone moved out of their home, very sad and difficult to imagine.  Jonah is ready to go to his forever home with plenty of love, attention and exercise.  Jonah is healthy, neutered, housebroken and well behaved.  No school-age children please.  We are located in the Los Angeles area and cannot adopt outside of the S. California area.

About Nuts'n Bolts Animal Advocates

About Our Rescue Group...

Nuts'n Bolts Animal Advocates is a 501c3, ID #45-2490926, dedicated to preventing at risk animals from entering the shelter system. We encourage pet retention through education and by providing low cost or free spay and neuter, simple pet enclosure repairs, and food in emergencies. Our shelters have 1000s of animals impounded every year. To reach no kill, we must keep animals OUT of shelters. The fewer animals in a shelter, the better chances they have of finding a home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All of our animals are in foster care and seen by appointment only.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee include current vaccinations, microchip, flea control, and alteration. We do have an application process and an adoption contract. We request references for all applications. Depending on the breed of dog, we may require a home visit. Adopters either need to provide proof that they own their home or, if they are renters, proof from their landlord that they may have a pet. Adoption is for life and we try to make the best match possible, it is not first come, first served. Adoption fees for cats will vary depending on age, sex, etc. Cats follows the same adoption application and contract as dogs.
